Taiwan Chronicle (臺灣日誌資料庫) recorded the events during the Japanese occupation from 1895 to 1945. The data were collected from a wide range of resources including newspapers, periodicals, books, thematic retrospection, and official records. There are more than 50 data sources with more than 50,000 entries.
Descriptions of the events in Taiwan Chronicle are totally based on the original records using contemporary expression. Most of the materials were written in Japanese due to the Japanese occupation.
