| This database contains the bibliographies of library and information science literature and documents published in Taiwan from 1955 to present. Included are journal articles, theses and dissertations, books, proceedings and research papers. There are five major categories: (1) General Administration, (2) Library Automation, (3) Technical Service, (4) Reference Service and (5) Non-print materials. Over 50,000 indexes and abstracts were written by experts and scholars in the library information field or were authorized by the authors. More records from Mainland China were added to the database recently. These bibliographies composed from doctoral dissertations, research papers and proceedings were contributed by the professors and graduate school students in the information departments of many famous universities, including Beijing University , Nanjing University , WuHan University , Nankai Univerisity and Sun Yat-sen University . This is the first one of its kind and is considered a breakthrough in the field of Chinese library information science. |
